The Low Plan

There will be a new low plan available effective July 1, 2020 to replace the prior low plan. The new low plan comes with some notable improvements. The plan deductible has decreased by $1,000 and this new plan will allow you to obtain prescription drugs prior to the plan deductible.

How to Compare Plans

  • Deductible: This is how much you have to spend for covered health services before the insurance company pays for services
  • Copayments and Coinsurance: after you have satisfied the plan deductible this is the amount you will pay each time you receive medical services
  • Out-of-Pocket Maximum: This is generally the maximum amount you will pay in a calendar year for copays, coinsurance, prescriptions, and other qualified health care expenses (excluding your premium)
